George Akst founded Akst & Akst PLLC in 1977 with a clear vision: to provide clients with exceptional legal counsel grounded in integrity, sound judgment, and a steadfast commitment to their interests.

Throughout his career George earned the respect and trust of clients and colleagues alike. He was known not only for his legal ability and dedication to clients, but also for his commitment to mentoring the next generation of lawyers and to upholding the highest standards of the profession.

The values that guided George continue to shape Akst & Akst today. His belief in justice and the American dream remains an important part of who we are and how we serve our clients.

We are grateful for the extraordinary foundation he built. We honor his memory every day by carrying forward the principles, relationships, and commitment to excellence that defined his career.

Today, that legacy continues through his daughter, Alisa Akst, who now guides the firm forward, carrying with her the values, standards, and commitment to excellence that her father established.
